How we handle your information

This site is operated by Ridgeline Deliveries, a Missouri-based FedEx Ground service partner platform forming around Ridgeline Management Inc. and its operating company subsidiaries.

References to “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Ridgeline Deliveries. References to “you” mean a visitor to ridgelinedelivery.com or anyone who contacts us through the site.

We collect three categories of information.

• You give us. When you fill out a form on the site or email us, we receive the information you provide — typically a name, an email address, a phone number, the name of your business or terminal, and the message you send.
• Automatic technical information. Our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL, time of request, page accessed). These are used to keep the site running, debug errors, and detect abuse. Logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted.
• Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page views and measure site performance. These services are cookieless and do not collect personal identifiers, IP addresses, or behavioral profiles — only aggregated, pseudonymous usage and timing metrics. No consent banner is required under US or EU rules.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or other sensitive personal information through the public marketing site. If a future operational form requires sensitive information, that form will identify itself and apply additional protections at the point of collection.

We use the information you give us to:

• respond to your inquiry,
• evaluate potential acquisitions, partnerships, or working relationships you raise,
• follow up on conversations you initiate (we don't add you to marketing lists you didn't ask for),
• keep records of communications for legitimate business and legal purposes.

We use technical and analytics information to operate, secure, and improve the site.

We share information with three groups, and only as needed.

• Service providers. Vercel hosts the site and provides our cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights), Cloudflare provides DNS, and our email provider routes inbound messages. Each is bound by their own contractual obligations to handle data responsibly.
• Professional advisors. Attorneys, accountants, and lenders involved in a specific transaction may receive information you provide as part of that transaction, with your knowledge.
• When required by law. If we receive a valid legal request — subpoena, court order, regulatory inquiry — we may share information to the extent required.

We do not sell your personal information, and we have not done so in the prior twelve months. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), or similar laws.

Those rights generally include:

• the right to know what personal information we hold about you,
• the right to correct inaccurate personal information,
• the right to delete personal information,
• the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we don't sell or share, so there's nothing to opt out of), and
• the right to be free from discrimination for exercising any of the above.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@ridgelinedelivery.com from the address associated with your inquiry. We'll verify your identity using information already in our records and respond within the timeframe required by your jurisdiction (typically 30–45 days).

This site is intended for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (United States, COPPA) or under 16 (European Union, GDPR). If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact privacy@ridgelinedelivery.com and we will delete it.

The site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies, all in the “strictly necessary” or “privacy-respecting analytics” categories:

• Session cookies set by the hosting platform that keep the site working from page to page,
• Privacy-respecting analytics (if enabled) that count visits without identifying individual visitors or building advertising profiles.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies and do not allow third-party cross-site tracking on the site.

We retain the information you give us only as long as we need it to handle the matter you raised, plus the period required for recordkeeping, tax, and legal compliance.

Server logs are retained for up to 90 days unless required for a specific investigation. Analytics data is aggregated and is retained per the analytics provider's default retention.

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect information in our care — encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor selection that prioritizes security. No system is perfectly secure, so we do not promise absolute protection. We will notify affected individuals of a security incident as required by applicable law.

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective” date at the top of the page. For significant changes that affect rights or practices, we will provide additional notice through the site or by contacting you directly if appropriate.
